Sodium Content. Please be aware that during processing the protein extraction process the peas are soaked in sodium to raise their pH level. After the peas are rinsed, they still retain some of that sodium. If you require something lower in sodium, I suggest rice protein, or do what I do; create a 50/50 mix of both powders shaken together in a large tub — the best of both worlds.
